Welcome to the Overwater Forum, please make yourselves comfortable.
Hi There, I thought it might be useful to have a general forum space for everyone to just have a chat about anything you fancy.
I thought I'd start this one off...
So how is everyone coping with the current situation? I'll admit it's been quite difficult, social distancing from a partner who isn't part of my household has been a drag (My partner is NHS, frontline and doing testing. So no shortcuts for us!). And of course it's had an impact on work, I'm fortunate that I had just started up with Overwater before the lockdown happened and Chris and Kirsty have been able to keep me on. As I'm self employed I will find out what the government are going to provide with the self-employed support scheme in the next couple of days. Might buy a new bike, use this extra free time to try and get fit... or pay overdue bills...
So, how are you all coping?
Good idea to start this one - it lets people know that there are others out there. Hope your partner remains safe and doing a tremendous job - a long and loud round if applause from me for one.
Right now, apart from typing this, I am Looking out at blue skies, yellow fields and bright green trees - no, I'm not tripping. Have just broken the battery connector on my Progress III and am mightily hacked-off about that. Surely I can't be the only person who finds these flimsy, fiddly attachments a pain! There has to be a better way. I will now head off to effect a repair on me bass (no doubt, something will go badly wrong).
If I stay without my bass for too long, I turn into an Overwater Minion.
Damn! It just happened!
Now who's tripping?!
