Dear fellow Bass Players,

As some of you may be aware, Overwater has recently been working with several other world class manufactures, which allows us access to resources that enable us to expand and improve the range of Overwater products we can offer.

So, as a forerunner of things to come - it is with great pleasure, in association with our distribution partners Strings and Things - we are able to announce our new and improved line of UK made bass strings.

Following the same design philosophy we have developed over more than 30 years, responding to the needs of our customers - we have now extended our range of strings to include two different scale lengths and designed stylish and robust new custom packaging to ensure stings get to you in same condition they left the factory.

Available in both Nickel and Stainless Steel in two established Overwater custom gauges; for the four string player .038 – .098 Light gauge and .044 – .104 Medium, for the five sting set add a B string of .128 to the light gauge and .134 Medium and finally a .028 light and .032 medium to complete a balanced six sting set...

We have retained all of our signature feel and tone with this new range of strings; via our long-established combination of core diameter, wrap thickness and winding pressure, resulting in a balanced tension and even harmonic response. Standard Length – designed specifically for all regular 34" and 35" scale instruments. All Overwater basses including the new Aspiration Series are set-up with these strings as standard issue.

Extended Length - our second range of strings will be very familiar to those of you who have used our established 'Multi-Scale' sets in the past. Designed specifically for basses with an extended scale up to 36" and now redesigned to fit all 'through body' strung 35" scale bass guitars – with a ball end to silk length of 38.75", will fit comfortably between saddle and nut without impeding machine head posts in either application.

We acknowledge we have had delivery problems in the past – however we are committed resolving these issues and will endeavour to have the strings with you within two working days of order.

Selected single strings are still available - high C and F string for those players making up sets for high strung 5, 6 string and 7 string basses; single .023 (F) and .028 and .032 (C) can be added to any standard 4, 5 or 6 string set.
