Hello Overwater Family – wherever you are (we’re guessing the answer to that for most of you is “at home”!)
As many of you will have already realised, due to the impact of COVID-19 and following recent advice given by the UK government, the organisers of the UK Bass Guitar Show 2020, which was due to be held in Manchester on the weekend of 28th& 29th March, have taken the difficult decision to postpone the event until a future date, yet to be announced.
This decision was made in consultation with all of the exhibitors, who unanimously opted for postponement.
Gold Media Events are working very hard to contact everyone who purchased tickets in advance but, if you haven’t heard from them as yet, please bear with them as they try, like the rest of us, to cope with a rapidly changing situation.

We know that many of you were really looking forward to this brand-new Bass Show and will be incredibly disappointed that it has been postponed – just as all of us exhibitors are. We’ll keep you posted for new dates as/when they are announced.
Many of you will be familiar with the concept that we think of ourselves as the Overwater Family. But we aren’t just a group of people attached to a name – we are part of a massive community of musicians who, in turn, are part of the Human Race. We are all part of the same family around the world. These are seriously tough times that we’re facing but, with Love, Kindness, Humour – and Music – we’ll find a way through this together, especially if we all take the time to help each other out in whatever way we are able to, and remembering that we are not always aware of what challenges and fears someone else might be struggling with.
