Sandy Beales is a gifted session bass player, showcasing his electric, synth, and upright bass expertise. His musical career includes touring globally with the legendary boy band, One Direction from 2011 to 2015, performing at iconic venues such as Wembley Stadium and Madison Square Garden. This collaboration brought him to the screens of numerous international TV shows and award ceremonies, including Saturday Night Live, The Late Late Show, and The X Factor.

In Autumn 2017, Sandy began a fruitful collaboration with the soulful singer-songwriter, J.P. Cooper, joining him on UK and European tours and making several festival and TV appearances. He also ventured into featured artistry with a creative stop-motion Lego music video for Wheatus’ song “Only You”, co-featuring with One Direction drummer Josh Devine.

Alongside his bass-playing duties, Sandy is also an in-demand Musical Director for the London-based Kaizen Collective.
