Hollowbody Fretless 5

The Hollowbody Carved Top sits along side our long established Expression and is constructed with body cavities on either side of a centre block which, in turn, holds a fixed (glued) neck joint and fully adjustable wooden bridge, set into a shallow route on the carved top front of the bass and strung ‘through body’ via extended ferrule inserts set into the rear of the body.

The unique design results in an instrument that is supremely articulate.

A surprisingly lightweight instrument – the chambered body providing a resonant voice with a great balance of depth and clarity, whilst the carved top adds a tactile feel and elegant aesthetic.

The Hollowbody is available in either “Full Depth” or “Thinline” versions, and with the option of either a pair of twin coil magnetic pick-ups or a combination of magnetic or piezo.

Progress Standard 5 String

Standard Series basses are built in our UK workshop to the same level of excellence, by the same team of experienced craftsmen and using the same quality of materials, hardware and electronics as Custom Series instruments. However, a standard specification with fewer custom options allows production to be more cost effective.

Available in 4, 5 and 6 string formats with some ‘Custom Options’ available, including a selection of timber choices, fingerboard material, finish and the option of Chrome, Black or Gold hardware.

Progress Custom Fretless 5

The Custom Series Progress bass is available as either a through neck or an extended bolt-on construction. The Progress Series IV combines balance and playability with outstanding tonal clarity and visual elegance. Available in 4, 5, 6 and 7 string formats with a wide choice of tunings, scale lengths and string spacings, this model offers plenty of scope for every playing style.

Tone woods available for bodies include Ash, Alder, Walnut, Tulipwood and Mahogany. We offer a variety of fingerboard materials to chose from, and neck laminates include Maple (plain and figured), White Ash, and Wenge. Walnut ‘stringers’ are used in 5 piece laminate through neck instruments.

A wide and ever changing selection of figured body and headstock facings are also available – ensuring each instrument its own, unique beauty.
