Registration. By registering on The Overwater Basses website you will become a Participant of our  forums and a Subscriber to WordPress. Once registered please update your profile information.

No spam / Advertising / Self-promotion. All automated messages, advertisements, and links to competitor websites will be deleted immediately. Please do not use our forums to self-promote your website, businesss or forum etc.

Post in relevant sub-forums only. Messages posted in the wrong topic area will be removed and placed in the correct sub-forum by moderators.

Respect other users. No flaming or abusing fellow forum members. Users who continue to post inflammatory, abusive comments will be deleted from the forum after two warnings are issued by moderators.

Harassment. No threats or harassment of other users will be tolerated. Any instance of threatening or harassing behavior is grounds for removal from the forums.

Adult content. Do not post profanity or obscenity. Because this forum is viewed by bassists of all ages, all posts must be suitable for viewing by minors. No profanity or pornography is allowed. Posts containing adult and/or offensive material will be deleted.

Bandwidth. All images and signatures must be 500 x 500 pixels or smaller. Posts containing over-sized images and signatures will be removed.

Copyright material. Please do not post material which is under copyright. Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is also forbidden.

Controversial Content. Any Political/Religious debates are not permitted. Any other controversial discussions will be closely monitored and terminated at a moderator’s discretion.

Talk to Us. Any issues in the forum regarding user misconduct, technical faults or disputing moderator decisions – please direct them to a Moderator’s PM/IM. We ask that you do not publicly post these issues and retain the right to delete any post if you do.
